Gaol: SWBAT name the different places of a community and also the different kinds of occupations.
Objective:
-SWBAT identify the place of a community by repeating the name after he teacher.
-SWBAT compare the place with the right occupation.
-SWBAT trace lines from the occupation to the corresponding place.
Warm-Up:
5 minute
Students sing the “ the wheels of the bus ” song.
Introduction:
5 minute
Instruction of the places in a community and occupations.
Students repeat.
Activities:
-Listening Exercise.
Song puzzle: write the lyrics of a song on a chart or on the board. The song name is
“ Our neighborhood”. The teacher omit the parts in which the restaurant, hospital and post office is mentioned, so the students will have to identify the word they listened. Materials: picture cards, chart.
Memory Game:
Divide the class group in tow groups. Paste pictures related to place of a community on the board with the drawing down , then one student of each group will have to turn around 2 pictures to see if they match if it doesn’t then the other group has the chance. Once you have found all the matching couple you win.
Materials:
Picture cards.
Role Play: Give a card to each student with certain occupation, then he will have to get dress like the picture. Teacher would have to bring clothes and accessories. The students will have to guess the right occupation of their classmate. At the end the student has to say My name is… and I am a …..
Materials:
Clothes, Picture cards, accessories.
Assessment: 5 minutes per each.
Draw a line from the truck to the fire station
Trace lines to the store with the right colors.
Draw special places you know of your community.

HELO YOUR LESSON PLANS ARE GOOD , BUT IT LOOKS LIKE ONLY ONE PERSON WORKED FOR THE TEAM AND REMEMBER GAYS YOUR WERE A TEAM IT SUPPOSED THAT ALL THE MEMBERS HAD TO HELP. ANOTHER THING YOU HAD TO BE CAREFUL WITH THE TIME BECAUSE WE HAVE TO RESPECT THE OTHERS TEAM TIME.
